Apparently it is not only the installer showing corrupted font rendering. See screenshot 2.

Is this with a nightly running off a USB stick, an existing install, or what? I'm not seeing this over here.

This is nightly hrev46656 running off a hard drive partition. The previous nightly did not exhibit this problem. I'll do another install tonight and see if the issue reappears.

Tonight I unzipped the nightly hrev46656 and wrote to a USB drive. Initialized the dev partition and installed to hard drive, same as I always have done. I have attached a syslog, listdev, and a series of screenshots from this fresh install. The characters corruption appears system wide and not just on the installer.
