Opening Desk Calculator turns on num lock

Description

Opening up Desk Calculator causes the num lock to turn on. So far only tested on a Thinkpad 570E but suspect it happens on all PCs? One would think this should be an option and NOT the default setting.

It is an option, and now it is off by default. You get to the options window by right-clicking the DeskCalc window, it's a bit hidden... I know.
