Description

The request port the driver for a considerable quantity of sound cards on chips ​Envy24HT (HT-S, GT), exists ​open FreeBSD driver. There is a possibility to test with cards Terratec Aureon 7.1 Space and M-Audio Revolution 5.1. In OSS these cards are supported, but in haiku with them only ​KDL.

Yes, it is newer chip (1712 - Envy24, 1724 - Envy24HT)

Spoke with several people at Maudio today. hopefully they can get me in touch with the proper folsk at via or help us with the source for the original Beos driver for the delta 1010 "uses the same chips"

Delta 1010 already works with this ​driver. It on chip ICE1712.

This is a dup of #12902 (well in reality it's the other way around, but that ticket has more information) and this one should be closed.

Also it shouldn't be listed under ice1712 as the chip would need a completely new driver.
