Description
Everything is in the title, not sure how to present the info but it would be pretty handy for newcomers with troubles and the devs on the other side.

We have some hardware info in the screen prefs now. It says VESA when that is used, and some driver-provided description string otherwise. Sounds good enough.

I've added the info in hrev34659 to the tool tip, but I don't think this is a good solution yet (so I don't close the ticket yet).
