my ext4 partitions recognized as ext2?

it's scaring seeing my ext4 partitions were recognized as ext2 - do we will have problems on reading and writing in these ext4 partitions recognized as ext2? i have also a hfsplus partition where not recognized at all (i do read/write on this partition from Linux since Ubuntu 6.10)

Our ext[234] file system currently only really supports ext2. It might still be able to read newer ones depending on how you initialized them (ie. what new features you are using).
