I have netbook Aspire One 751h. There is wifi adapter from atheros AR 5007. In Haiku says that it is AR5001. I installed atheros-rev387-r1alpha1 from http://dev.osdrawer.net/projects/haiku-wifi/files. But it doesn't work.

The drivers on osdrawer are older than the ones in the Haiku alpha2 release candidates.

On a side note does anyone know if a project on osdrawer can be deleted? The "Haiku Wi-Fi support Project" these days only creates confusion.

So is there any way to make Ar5007 work on haiku?

Well have you tried the alpha2 build? I have a AR928X which seems to work on the trunk build (I can only test at school and the mac address blocking scheme seems to get tripped up by haiku and disconnects me almost immediately I have seen 200ish Kbs on the driver though when I was able to get it to stay connected.

Well, in the first message i wrote, that i'm using R1/alph2 GCC2 Hybrid biuld. I've founded this http://dev.osdrawer.net/issues/381, but that doesn't help me. Any ideas?

Milestone: R1/alpha2R1
Type: bugenhancement

IIRC our policy is not to put tickets about support for specific hardware into alpha milestones.

Cc: GCC 2 Hybrid added; GCC 2 Hybrid removed

rolenof: it would be appreciated if you could repeat your tests on one of the nightly builds here. Currently, the only listed non-working Atheros chipset is the AR9285.
