However, it could be not Tracker's fault...

The reason is that there's indeed a volume mounted at /boot/common. I suppose this requires some special-casing in Tracker. There are also other places where we may want to hide that there are multiple volumes at work, e.g. in the "Find" window.

DiskUsage and df tool also comes to mind.
