#9842 fixed x86-64 panics early in boot when built with KDEBUG_LEVEL 0 xyzzy anevilyak
Description

This only seems to occur with level 0 specifically ; levels 1 and 2 boot normally here.

A screenshot of the panic screen is attached, along with a readelf dump of the corresponding kernel image. As best as I can tell, the backtrace leading up to the page fault itself was:

 9 ffffffff81004e10 (+ 192) ffffffff80133568 memcpy_generic
10 ffffffff81004ed0 (+ 64) ffffffff800fe02e _ZL15write_to_bufferP11ri
11 ffffffff81004f10 (+ 16) ffffffff800fe324 ring_buffer_write
12 ffffffff81004f20 (+ 48) ffffffff8008dfa6 syslog_write
13 ffffffff81004f50 (+ 128) ffffffff8008ed4f debug_init_post_settings
14 ffffffff81004fd0 (+ 32) ffffffff8005d0d3 _start

This seems somewhat puzzling though, since debug_init_post_settings doesn't in fact call syslog_write that I can see, so I may have done something wrong on that front. This panic is 100% reproducible, so please let me know if I can enable anything else to help get more information.

#14470 fixed [x86_64] No updates from Haiku repo kallisti5 ahwayakchih
Description

I have updated repos to:

/> pkgman list-repos
        Haiku
                base-url: https://eu.hpkg.haiku-os.org/haiku/master/x86_64/current
                url: https://hpkg.haiku-os.org/haiku/master/x86_64/current
                priority: 1
        HaikuPorts
                base-url: https://eu.hpkg.haiku-os.org/haikuports/master/x86_64/current
                url: https://hpkg.haiku-os.org/haikuports/master/x86_64/current
                priority: 1

Still, when i was on hrev52316, no updates where available, even though i could see new versions to download from https://download.haiku-os.org/nightly-images/x86_64/.

So, i downloaded anyboot file, booted VirtualBox from it and installed new version on top of 52316. Now i'm on hrev52323.

Today i run SoftwareUpdater, i got "git" packages updates but no Haiku updates. Just to be sure i checked nightly downloads and there already are two newer versions available there.

I tried to check stuff in Terminal, so:

/> pkgman refresh
Fetching repository checksum from https://eu.hpkg.haiku-os.org/haiku/master/x86_64/current ...
Validating checksum for Haiku ...
Fetching repository checksum from https://eu.hpkg.haiku-os.org/haikuports/master/x86_64/current ...
Validating checksum for HaikuPorts ...
/> pkgman update
100% repochecksum-1 [65 bytes]
Validating checksum for Haiku...done.
100% repochecksum-1 [64 bytes]
Validating checksum for HaikuPorts...done.
Nothing to do.
/> pkgman full-sync
100% repochecksum-1 [65 bytes]
Validating checksum for Haiku...done.
100% repochecksum-1 [64 bytes]
Validating checksum for HaikuPorts...done.
The following changes will be made:
  in system:
upgrade package haiku-r1~beta1_hrev52323-1 to r1~beta1_hrev52316-1 from repository Haiku
upgrade package makefile_engine-r1~beta1_hrev52323-1 to r1~beta1_hrev52316-1 from repository Haiku
upgrade package haiku_loader-r1~beta1_hrev52323-1 to r1~beta1_hrev52316-1 from repository Haiku
upgrade package webpositive-r1~beta1_hrev52323-1 to r1~beta1_hrev52316-1 from repository Haiku
upgrade package haiku_devel-r1~beta1_hrev52323-1 to r1~beta1_hrev52316-1 from repository Haiku
Continue? [yes/no] (yes) : no

So, i tried to open repo URLs, to check what's happening. None of them work directly in a browser, but cropping out paths one by one i got to the https://eu.hpkg.haiku-os.org/haiku/. And there is no mention of hrev later than 52316 there :(.

I'm attaching output from repo URL.

#9582 duplicate x86_64 nightly missing Radeon driver, Shortcuts preflet bonefish Kev
Description

I have two Haiku partitions, so how I normally install a nightly is to boot into my non-nightly partition, format the nightly partition, mount a raw nightly image, and run Installer from the mounted image. However, when I tried downloading x86_64 of hrev45413, it said it couldn't open Installer with application Installer. So, I just used Tracker to drag all the files from the mounted image onto my now-empty nightly partition, then ran makebootable on it just in case. It boots up fine on my Sempron 3100+ (yay!) but there seem to be standard things missing, two mentioned in the title. Because there's no driver the display gets set to 1024x768 and when I try to up it to 1280, the screen goes blank until it times out and resets to 1024.

Anyway, do these things not build yet under 64? Here's a list of what's included

/boot/home/config/settings/deskbar/Applications: ActivityMonitor DriveSetup StyledEdit WebPositive Debugger Installer Terminal
