Description
It would be userfriendly if there would be a preferences app for the ~/config/settings/kernel/drivers/kernel config file.

Kernel settings are something that should have no use for 99.9% of the users. It's definitely not happening as part of Haiku. IOW a perfect 3rd party opportunity :-)
If we don't manage to fix bugs that ie. lead you to suggest #10201 for R1, then the solution you proposed sounds a lot saner than this one.
