Description
Every time I reboot haiku, I have to start LaunchBox again. I think LaunchBox should launched automaticlly after reboot if it was launched last time. hrev47853

I think he still has a point though. LaunchPad could add that link itself when it runs, and when quit, it removes it, except when the quit message contains the shutdown flag. I think it would make sense for what LaunchPad is. In any case, I still have the plan to merge LaunchPad and Deskbar eventually.

Hi, Yes, you are welcome to work on this. We now have a launch daemon taking care of starting applications, it should be used in this case. You can have a look for example at LnLauncher, which is an alternative to LaunchBox and already does this

I think that a better option would be to have a checkbox for auto-startup in a menu. This would give more control to the user rather than starting on its own based on previous usage.

You are supposed to add a symlink to it in /boot/home/config/settings/boot/launch. This is how applications can be autostarted on Haiku.
