The PowerStatus icon in the Deskbar doesn't update while discharging. Only after opening the battery status window the icon shows the actual state.

Lacks a lot of info, no hw spec, logs or anything... Please follow our guideline when possible.

The tool tip btw does get updated. I hovered the mouse over the still green, half-full icon in the Deskbar and it showed 8%. Only after selecting "Battery info..." from the context menu, the icon got updated and the notification to plug in the power cord appeared.

The notifications warning for low and almost empty battery won't show either. I had the notebook unceremoneously power off once... So it's not just the drawing, but the monitoring itself that's not working.
