     36Results: when running a build that's been compiled on that same hrev (rather than compiled on an older hrev) I'm unable to get the crash, the updater is rock solid. That's trying with both libroot.so and libroot_debug.so

     38That is not a proof in itself that the crash is due to an ABI change/issue, I guess the inability to reproduce the crash in this case could be due to a number of things; but that does prevent me from building a minimal reproducible case

     40Here's hoping we're able to switch all our hrevs to newer ones (pending commit of the two-liner in #12373 which seems to be excruciatingly difficult to do for some reason :-) so as to work around this issue.
