A second issue is that the serial debug log cannot be opened with StyledEdit (blank page). Opening with Pe brings up the following error message: "An error occurred when checking the document's UTF-8 encoding. The first problematic character is highlighted. Please use the "File options"-dialog to select the correct source encoding." Ticket #13032 created for this issue.

Tested hrev50615 x86_gcc2 as OK.

Non-hybrid? Because this rev was built three times (why is this happening btw), it would be nice to know when you downloaded the image. Could you also check hrev50621?

Many BFS errors in that log. Is your storage medium reliable?

I downloaded the hrev50619 x86_gcc2 anyboot.image onto another PC and burned it to a CD as I normally do. This one boots and installs without any issues. So, this problem "might" have been caused by a bad CD (?).
