Colour doesn't work in canvases?

Description

Colours don't seem to work in canvases; only black is shown.

ie, Google's colour picker and Github contribution graphs.

It might just be in gradients.

GitHub contribution graph is currently an embedded SVG. It still doesn't look right, but apparently there is also an XML error in it.
