hrev50791 x86_gcc2h Tested 12 different drives by various manufacturers in two different PC's (Dell & HP) ReWritable disks cannot be blanked with cdrecord unless AHCI is disabled in the BIOS.

Attached are the cdrecord logs for my CDRW blanking tests. Tests were performed using a Dell Optiplex 780, Hitachi-LG GH50N optical drive and Verbatim ReWritable media. BIOS settings as follows: RAID Autodetect / AHCI RAID Autodetect / ATA
