initial v1 1 1 It looks like Haiku detects a GPT partition table only (this wasn't supported in alpha4 days so it wasn't a problem). I suggest erasing the two *last* sectors of your drive, that should erase the GPT which is stored both at start and end of the disk precisely to make it harder to accidentally erase. 2 3 The simplest solution is to dd if=/dev/zero on the whole drive, then rewrite the boot image over that. It makes sure there are no leftover from previous things you did with the drive.
