No sound via Thomson Wireless Headphone-Set WHP3001BK

Soundcard is detected and Mediaplayer starts to play Mediafiles. No sound to hear. Thomson Wireless-Headphone-Set WHP3001BK will never activate or wake-up.

Haiku is installed on a external HD (80GiB SATA) and connected via USB 2.0 to the PC. If i mount the HD (installed in the PC where the Sound-Files are located) sometimes i get the Message -> General System error by pressing the Button -> mount writeable. If this appears there is music to here. If not there is no sound. Did a probe with wireless Headphone-Set and wired Headphones. Message must appear to listen to the Files on internal HD and mounting it as read only.

2. Mount internal HD (NTFS) writeable
3. Sometimes -> General System error appears
4. Mount internal HD (NTFS) read only
5. Music and sound is available

but if no error Message appears there is no sound.

This is not very clear and there appears to be multiple problems. Can you try to isolate them?

I would suggest copying some music files to your system partition, and try playing from there. Does that work?

I am not sure you have a sound card problem, it seems more a problem with your NTFS volume not properly handled by Haiku?

That was my next try. Did a copy of some files to the Haiku-Desktop with the same result. Next step is to install Haiku on a SD-Card.

Same result with SD-Card. I expect it's a problem between NTFS and Soundcard driver. Have no other explanation. Maybe someone can reproduce this failure on another machine? Listdev can be found under #13204. Syslog can be found here #3177 (send via Humdinger).

Have to use failsafe to bring up the machine. Resolution of Vesa-Mode is 1680x1050. What happens if "General System error" appears on mounting HD as r/w. Something to be affected in the system? Something to be barred? Have a screenshot from Debug but can't attache, so i type it manually.
