#15461 new bug

UEFI bootloader doesn't detect hard disk when SATA mode is set to Intel Rapid Storage mode in firmware — at Initial Version

Description

Haiku is installed on my computer (Dell Latitude E6440), when in its firmware has an option to set the SATA mode to ATA, AHCI or RAID/Intel Rapid Storage, the latter being the default mode (see attached image).

When I try to boot my Haiku installation in UEFI mode, and using Haiku's UEFI bootloader, the bootloader fails to detect my hard disk and therefore can't boot (see attached image).

This happens with both the beta1 bootloader (https://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/haiku/r1beta1/haiku-r1beta1-x86_64-efiloader.zip) and the BOOTX64.EFI I took from the hrev53567 anyboot iso.

If I set the SATA mode to AHCI, my SSD is detected normally and I can boot Haiku.

If I boot Haiku from a live USB, I can access my hard disk data and Haiku partition whether the SATA mode is set to AHCI or RAID/Intel Rapid Storage.
