    1 No. MediaConverter still converts AVI files to MPEG4 (I just tested it on hrev56645 x64 with A/V playback using MediaPlayer). An issue I found was in the synch between audio and video playback after conversion (out of sync condition) versus the original file. In this case, this was in the file conversion from AVI to MPEG4/AC-3. I tested AVI to WAV which seemed fine - so specific conversions using MediaConverter need further review.
