Initially it would instantly reboot after showing ""1. FD 2.88MB System Type-(0F)"" and some dots. I had to be very quick with the Pause key! (see 01.jpg) [[Image(http://rguk.eu/s/haiku/01.jpg)]] (01.jpg) After going into the BIOS setup I disabled APIC. This got me a little further with the splash screen displaying followed instantly by the KDL displaying ""PANIC: Double Fault!"" (see 02.jpg) [[Image(http://rguk.eu/s/haiku/02.jpg)]] (02.jpg) This is the sc output after the above: [[Image(http://rguk.eu/s/haiku/03.jpg)]] (03.jpg) I next tried the various safe mode options. None would allow it to boot and instead I would get the following error: ""PANIC: mapping the local apic failed"" (see 04.jpg) [[Image(http://rguk.eu/s/haiku/04.jpg)]] (04.jpg) Here is the sc output after the above: [[Image(http://rguk.eu/s/haiku/05.jpg)]] (05.jpg) And here's the ints output: [[Image(http://rguk.eu/s/haiku/06.jpg)]] (06.jpg) The machine I'm trying to run it on has an ECS L4S8A motherboard with Award BIOS, Pentium 4 and SiS 648 chipset. Full system details/PCI listing are in the attached sysinfo.txt. I have also attached all the linked images above should they be inaccessible at any time. I will happily provide more information if it's needed. I can confirm that this also occurs with the latest nightly build (r33748).
