I had a similar issue, but it turned out that I had burned the image to a CD-R that probably wasn't a 700MB CD-R and so the CD-R was missing a few MB of data including part of webpositive. Try running installoptionalpackage -a webpositive and see if that works.

My disk image is 1.46 GiB There is plenty of room for the WebPosiotive package.
installoptionalpackage -a webpositive does nothing.
expanding the WebPositive optional package ... WebPositive-r1a2-gcc4-x86-hrev488-2010-05-05.zip to /boot does not corect the issue. there is something not included in the normal trunk that is included in the r1a2 branch.
I need Netfs so an r1a2 build will not do as it does not include userlandfs and Netfs.

It's a binary compatibility problem of the package. The signature of some methods in liblocale.so changed in hrev36727, and WebPositive hasn't been updated.
