Well, Alt+X changes icons to semi-transparent and deselects them.

Oh (slaps forehead), i guess that's me that was mixed up :) Well i'm not sure that's a problem since the user has the semi-transparent visual indication already, but i'm open to suggestions.

Okay, I'm confused since this was not a problem in beta5, but in R1/development as set before, and fixed for beta5, and not R1.

It seems backwards to how we usually do this

IIRC for the bugs fixed for beta5 we querry for Milestone r1beta5, which this ticket will not match.

Yes, this was broken in previous versions and is now fixed in beta 5 (since the patch has been cherry picked to the beta branch). So let's put this ticket at the right place.
