Can't reproduce this (r25104). I experience only two oddities:

  • Keymap always cancels the shutdown.
  • When canceling the shutdown with the "Cancel Shutdown" button, I'm incorrectly told that some application (supposedly the one that was currently or next being quit) has canceled the shutdown.

Regarding the "Person" file type. That's not the People application, that's the file type for the person files (which People edits).

One file is a "Person" file. Many person files are managed by the "People" app. :-) It is debatable weather the app should be called "Persons" instead, but it cannot be argued that the file should be a "People file", since people is always plural.
