IIRC, there is already a patch which doesn't only translate Filetypes, but also converts it to using layout management.

OK, I found the missing localizations from the svn source code when trying to find why localization did not work. According to the changeset 36252 comment Locale Kit was not implemented yet for FileTypes, but it was obviously obsolete information.

All changes were reject. Looks like this stuff is already localized in the current revision (hrev40504). Feel free to reopen and provide more actial patch in case any objections. Thanks.
