Text truncation sometimes broken

When opening the attached mail, chances are good that the truncation is completely broken. It doesn't happen everytime, though, and I don't know if this is related to the truncation sometimes being off (as can often be seen in the Deskbar's window list when using the expander):

Assigning to mmlr as he worked last on that code if memory serves well. This has been tested with hrev39719.

Fixed in hrev40172. I'm opening a new ticket for the remaining question of what to do with tabs.
