Inconsistent controls in MediaPlayer while in fullscreen

Open a video in media player and switch to full screen. Switch to another workspace and move the mouse, then move back to MediaPlayer workspace and notice how after the mouse cursor disappears, the controls area at the bottom pops up. Now switch to another workspace then switch back to the MediaPlayer workspace without moving the mouse and notice how after the mouse cursor disappears the control area at the bottom doesn't appear at all.

I think the control area shouldn't appear at all if the mouse cursor moves on a different workspace.

System: Haiku R1Alpha4.1 on Virtualbox v4.2.4r81684 Windows Ultimate x64.

A different bug seems to be present. After switching workspace for a second time, the mouse cursor never disappears. I did not move the mouse the second time, but if I move the mouse on the second time, everything is fine (first controls popup, then the mouse and control both disappear)
