    1414I'll try to fiddle a bit with that, thought first attempts failed I expect because my sourcecode base I am compiling is too new compared to the running version of Haiku, so I need to upgrade first and retry.

     16Oh UPDATE2: When I connected the audio interface pre-boot, the repeating thing does not happen. Since I boot from USB using xhci also, I expect things are OK (I can't test further yet since also media services refuse to run on this system still): again, this -could- be power (edge) related.
