Regression: all mouse buttons detected as RMB — at Version 4

Might be a fluke in the recent refactorings:
- in any Tracker window (Desktop included), the left mouse button opens the contextual menu, just like clicking the right mouse button would. So no way to double-click any more e.g.
- oddly, the "Mouse" preflet is affected too, with regard to the visual feedback: only the digit "2" is ever highlighted; maybe it shares code with Tracker ?
- apps e.g. WebPositive are not affected: the RMB brings up the menu, the LMB selects text. No problem.

The described behavior isn't reproducible here on the same revision. Furthermore, Tracker and the Mouse preflet have nothing in common, so neither of those is the likely culprit. In order to narrow this down, it'd be helpful to know what revision this behavior first appears at for you.

I know this isn't going to be tremendously helpful, but I have experienced the "left click works like a right click" problem on one of my laptops. This has been a long-standing problem though, so it's definitely not anything new if it is indeed the same exact problem ttcoder is experiencing. It only affected the trackpad area buttons in my case though, so I figured it was just some sort of incompatibility with my touchpad. I almost always hook up a USB mouse to a laptop, so it wasn't a really big concern of mine, since that always works as desired.
In any case, if I can reproduce it again (not sure if that laptop boots anymore), I'll see if I can find anything interesting in the syslog.

Could it be corrupted mouse settings? Tracker can popup the menu by right click but also by long left clicks (for those of us left with these old single-button apple mouses...). I think the timing for long clicks is derived from the double click delay. The buttons mapping can also be adjusted in the preflet. Try removing ~/config/settings/Mouse_settings and see if that helps.
More oddity: this time with the mouse wheel'... It..
Not so sure the guilty component is Tracker any more..
