Description
Someone asked me: "Is time travelling possible with Haiku?" I had to say: "Well, just you are using a NTFS formated HD!" :) Maybe the creation time also affected?!? Using one of the latest hrev's with booting via USB and two internal drives (SSD, and an 1000GiB NTFS formated HD). Someone else can reproduce, too?

Have seen it at the first time. A friend told me so i've checked it on his and on my PC. Not sure, but could be an App-Server problem too. What happens on your maschine?

What he means is, did this problem only start appearing with more recent nightlies, or do older revisions have this issue as well? Our NTFS driver hasn't changed in quite a while, so it'd be somewhat surprising if this was a new problem.

Hrev 47407 didn't match (4GiB Image) with USB-Stick so i took hrev47437. File Info shows me 2. June 1945 on both HD's. Next try with Laptop (Win7 32Bit) is 3. December 1917.

Creation times seem to be working properly in the new NTFS driver glue merged in hrev55628.

Thanks for working on it. ATM i can't check because Haiku doesn't work on my Machines. Sorry.

It's typically Lenovo and a self build PC with AMD A8. Hangs on booting at Rocket-symbol. The other Laptop is in small peaces because of heatpipe problem.

Try using the "fail safe video mode" option in the bootloader. (Or, a number of video driver problems have been fixed recently, so first see if it works without that.)

Did everything from Fail safe to blacklist network etc. Nothing worked. Striking: just or often machines with AMD with Graphic combined. But don't worry, I belief in you guys and Haiku. Maybe some time in the future, but if all it's done it will be a great and fast OS. Keep on the very good work and respect to everyone in this project. Bye.
