     9'''EDIT''': update a week later: this is probably not worth delaying the beta for, so just posting this silent update that it's improved but not completely fixed -- I still see the "oops" assert sometimes; but the media_server can be restarted successfully when that happens, contrarily to the previous situation where it was about impossible to recover without a reboot, so no contest, big improvement here :-)
