hrev51197 x86_64 ffmpeg 3.2.4
Tested the same video clips again today with similar result

hrev51192 x86_gcc2h The 00003.MTS video will play without crashing on x86_gcc2h, but at double speed video, and out-of-sync audio.

Tested today with hrev51295 x86_64
Neither clip will play with MediaPlayer
However, both clips play perfectly using mplayer
I have attached the mplayer playback log for each clip in hope that it leads to a resolution of the issue for our MediaPlayer.

I tested both clips today using hrev51307 x86_64. They now play perfectly.
Please do not close ticket until I have had a chance to test on x86_gcc2h for the above mentioned double speed out of sync viseo/audio (comment:3)

MVI_0021.AVI now plays perfectly on x86_gcc2h.
00003.MTS still has issues due mostly to our old ffmpeg version not being able to handle HD content well.
Since the issue was resolved for 64 bit (as in the ticket description), we can consider this problem fixed.

Testing the same video files on hrev50818 x86_gcc2 only causes an intermittent crash. More often than not they will play.
