Would be nice if the system suggested the user to install the opensound driver if his sound card is not supported?

We had a discussion recently about buttons to "find more $whatever" in the GUI, it seems it's not really favored.
Ubuntu had a tool to detect stuff and propose to install proprietary drivers, maybe we could have something alike, not sure it's best though.
Ideally we'd not require installing anything to support hardware, but OSS is still buggy anyway.

Possibly media_server could query repos to try to find a driver if no driver is loaded or list alternative available drivers?
