AMD FCH Azalia Controller no sound on BetaR1 x64

I have installed R1beta x64 on my hard disk. I have no sound. If i do listdev i see: device Multimedia controller (Audio device) [4|3|0] vendor 1002: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] device 1314: Wrestler HDMI Audio

All seems ok, but when i play a mp3 or a video i don’t hear any sound.

My notbook is an Acer Aspire One 725

I have a similar AMD sound device, same no sound. I'd like to be in on the loop for future testing. Can add a syslog upon request.

I'm around. I still have that laptop. Just plugged it in and found I had just installed a fresh ssd last time I touched it. Installing Haiku now. I'm still in for testing and debug.

Could you attach your syslog to this ticket? And do you have sound from the headphone jacks?

I'll have to track down some headphone jack equipment. I seem to have stored mine somewhere cryptic. Can't test that until then.

If this was actually a delayed start of audio it might be fixed by hrev54464, please retest with a nightly that includes that fix.
