Broken framebuffer with Lenovo G510 (Intel HD graphics 4600 )

Booting from my Lenovo G510, EFI boot works flawlessly, the loading splash screen is correctly shown. As soon as I get to the desktop, all I see is a blue background with disaligned framebuffer lines. The desktop itself works, I can see the (broken) context menu showing up at mouse right click and menu etc. See attached video
NOTE that I need to have the VGA cable inserted for it to show that broken screen, if I keep the VGA cable disconnected the screen/graphics card shuts down after the splash screen
I think it may be due to some broken ACPI/graphics card configuration

NOTE It does work with the VESA drivers.
Unfortunately I can't have it save the previous_log file, I only have the last log which is the one with the VESA session (because first I tried booting with the default, intel drivers, to make it save the logs, then I booted with the VESA ones to get the logs and save them in a usb drive). Since it doesn't have the previous_log, I can't even see the "save log" option in the boot menu

To get a syslog: boot a USB stick, when the screen gets black, wait a few seconds, then press the shutdown button to trigger the shutdown. You can mount the USB drive on another system and upload in this ticket.

Usually booting with EFI can result in a black screen, because the BIOS EDID isn't available. Using the legacy boot usually let the driver uses the EDID from the BIOS.

Just tried hrev56102, it works now, the screen is shown properly (there is tearing and in general the performance is like with the VESA drivers).
With the HDMI display connected I see black screen in the integrated display, with the VGA display connected I see a broken framebuffer
