    5 That is while being aware, of course, the flip side of that - the bug may never occur and you can't prove it won't, without knowing the cause. But at least if it does occur, you can rule out "general disk corruption" for whatever problem ''did'' show up.
     5Obviously it doesn't work for proving the reverse case, but it might be good enough to rule that out.
