initial v1 3 3 That way, if a trigger case is discovered where the data in the BeFS volume is showing symptoms of corruption, it would be possible to rule out physical corruption of the media as its cause. 4 4 5 That is while being aware, of course, the flip side of that - the bug may never occur and you can't prove it won't, without knowing the cause. But at least if it does occur, you can rule out "general disk corruption" for whatever problem ''did'' show up.5 Obviously it doesn't work for proving the reverse case, but it might be good enough to rule that out.
