v1 v2 1 1 Well if that is what it is, I'm noticing it on a nowadays measly 160Gb drive (8MB cache)... I imagine it could get quite bad on new drives with 256MB+ caches, or SSDs with multi GB dram buffers. 2 2 3 If this is as simple as flushing the drive cache shouldn't this be a Beta blocker... since it causes easy to reproduce corruption. I mean this could be as s ync ensuring that sync gets ran as the last task.
