Description (last modified by )
Specifying the DNS address as 10.1 in Network preferences, and thus also in /etc/resolv.conf doesn't work. It has to be written as 10.0.0.1
"ftp 10.1" or "telnet 10.1" in Terminal doesn't work, using "ftp 10.0.0.1" or "telnet 10.0.0.1" works.
Using http://10.1 in Firefox however does work.
10.1 is a valid address. Something is wrong, please fix.
