    11It seems to be a regression. I will prove it, one way or the other. Not to prove anyone right or wrong, just so we have some solid understand of what is going wrong. I do not think it is the only source of buffer management issues.

    55I would wonder if maybe no one has retested #4021, which is an old bug so cannot be blamed on a recent change. But then we also have #14755, which is only 3 months old.
