Description

13 months ago stippi have created the HVIF icons for tracker navigation (​http://dev.haiku-os.org/changeset/28099)

a little tracker beaufication can be done ​http://dev.hug-nordic.org/haikuart/icons.php

I've made a mock up of how I think it should look in single view mode:

Maybe it would be useful if the users can add custom buttons to the navigator bar too. And a Home button too.

I've made a mock up of how I think it should look in single view mode:

Original icons are pixel-aligned so they don't look well on smaller sizes. Icons can be fixed in Icon-O-Matic to fit 16x16 dimensions.

Also it will be good to have ability to add custom items in toolbar by add-ons.

This shouldn't be too hard either; it'll require some changes elsewhere though (move ToolBarView to libshared...).

I've got a WIP branch that fixes this issue now, it should be merged within a few weeks (or whenever Axel has time to review).

There are actually multiple branches there that fix the problem, ​https://github.com/waddlesplash/haiku/tree/tracker_layout_new is the one that you want. (I'm tracking the status of it in #11686).

Implemented in hrev48734 as Tracker now uses HVIF icons in the toolbar
