    33this time I went into the kernel setting files, uncommented the #apic  and it appears to have forced acpi on,  I can assure you it is enabled in the bios.I have tested every config. I am going to check for a bios update and see if that helps the situation. In the meantime Here is the latest log file. syslog.9 with APIC MPS 1.4 and the changes made to the kernel setting file.I hope I did that right but its the first time I have seen IOAPIC in the log.
