| 1 | | The way navigation will work (tabbed?, two-level?, navtree?) need some more research. There are quite a few usability articles on this topic. Two-level tabbed is too limited for deeper navigation, but OTOH for deeper navigation users seem to prefer clicking through links and using the "Back" button, so maybe two levels are enough (and they force us to simplify the website organization). Tabbed navigation at least takes up less space than a navtree on the left. OTOH, many websites don't even use all the available horizontal screen space when they have tabbed interfaces. |
