    8 Hi, thanks for your help.  I'm not sure if this isn't the right venue for getting advice, but I've been testing out a BeOS machine so I can then duplicate it using a USB-Serial adaptor with Haiku.  Unfortunately not having any luck.   I've searched Google and BeOS documentation extensively for stty commands to figure it out myself first, but can't seem to get it to work.   I tried the following:
