v17 v18 2 2 3 3 This year, the Free and Open Source Software Developer's European Meeting ([http://fosdem.org/2010/ FOSDEM], Brussels, 6-7th February 2010) will host the "Alt-OS" devroom on sunday from 9:00 to 17:00, organized by members of the [http://code.google.com/p/rosetta-os/ Rosetta OS] project. This devroom is meant as a place for Free and OpenSource Alternative Operating System projects to share ideas and work on topics like: 4 * distinguishing design and features 5 * device drivers and how to share them 6 * sharing code for internal components 7 * internal usage of other FOSS projects to build upon 8 * application portability 9 * interoperability 10 * file formats 11 * extended attributes 4 * distinguishing design and features, 5 * device drivers and how to share them, 6 * sharing code for internal components, 7 * internal usage of other FOSS projects to build upon, 8 * application portability, 9 * interoperability, 10 * file formats, 11 * extended attributes... 12 12 13 13 We are interested to hear about your OS projects, how they are designed, and what they could eventually share for other projects' benefit. … … 15 15 16 16 As time allows, we are also interested in transversal subjects in cooperation with other devrooms.
