For about three years now he is member of the RTEMS steering committee. Apart from working with RTEMS he is also developing application specific hardware based on 32 bit micro-controllers. 143 144 Thomas Doerfler has studied electrical engineering and worked with embedded systems for industrial and automotive applications for more than 20 years now.
