     142Thomas Doerfler (now together with his colleagues at embedded brains GmbH) is using, adapting and extending RTEMS on application specific hardware since 1998. For about three years now he is member of the RTEMS steering committee. Apart from working with RTEMS he is also developing application specific hardware based on 32 bit micro-controllers.

     144Thomas Doerfler has studied electrical engineering and worked with embedded systems for industrial and automotive applications for more than 20 years now. He lives in the south of Germany with his wife and 2 kids.
