This is a place to brainstorm about the design of the file system to be used after Haiku R1. For current limitations and issues in OpenBFS, see ​BFSIssues
I'd rather get rid of the inode concept completely and pack the file system object meta data (and small data) densely. ReiserFS 3 performance shows that this is a good idea.
