Google Code-in Ideas

This is a brainstorm page for the ​Google Code-In.

Developers, translators and documenters: feel free to add ideas for tasks below. Add an indication of the difficulty (easy-medium-hard).

1. Code: Tasks related to writing or refactoring code

Example: Internationalize a Haiku preflet. (difficult)

2. Documentation: Tasks related to creating/editing documents

Example: Verify if all the steps mentioned in a certain document are accurate, and suggest improvements. (easy)

3. Outreach: Tasks related to community management and outreach/marketing

4. Quality Assurance: Tasks related to testing and ensuring code is of high quality

Example: Test all tickets for ShowImage and indicate whether they are still valid. Add extra information. (medium)

5. Research: Tasks related to studying a problem and recommending solutions

6. Training: Tasks related to helping others learn more

7. Translation: Tasks related to localization
