Haiku PM won't boot on real hardware

Reported by: Giova84 Owned by: mmlr
Priority: normal Milestone: R1

I was attempting to boot (from a Live cd and from an usb stick) Haiku PM r20130921_c996b65. If i attempt to boot from live cd (burned ISO file) it hangs to the third icon (the PCI) If i attempt to boot it from the usb stick.. The boot screen also not appears, it just skip to my bootloader. I have looked on the usb stick for the syslog file, but seems that isn't available.

All is fine with Qemu and Virtualbox.

Pc specs:

Imedia S3710 6 GB ram ddr3 Pentium dual core E5300 @ 2.60GHz Radeon HD 6450

Update: I have seen that if i wait some minutes (about 5 minutes) the boot process will proceed. This seems a similar issue as described here: but this ticket was fixed, and in my case, when i boot the live cd of Haiku PM, there are no SD card or usb devices attached to my system.

It should be noted that that change hasn't yet been merged into the PM branch.

This change was merged in r20130926_a5d9833 (from yesterday 26 September 2013) ? I have updated to that revision, but i still experience this issue.

Ok, since hrev46130 (which includes PM) Haiku boot fine as usual. This ticket can be closed (as "no change required?")
