hrev50819 x86_gcc2 device Multimedia controller (Audio device) [4|3|0] vendor 8086: Intel Corporation device 27d8: NM10/ICH7 Family High Definition Audio Controller
I have fully working audio here. However, I had an issue while playing an audio CD. There was a loud pop through the speakers, then no audio until I did a reboot. In the syslog I see this: KERN: hda: no active codec KERN: hda: ERROR: No such device(-2147454969) This is probably a separate issue, and this ticket can be closed.

The ticket author just appeared in IRC saying that this is still broken for them. So once again, commenting when you do not have the same hardware is not helpful.

korli: I tried to change in the code (quirks and etc... ) ,but i do not understand the operation of this driver... I do not have two sliders in the HD mixer (speaker and left headphones)... I have added syslog and listdev file... I reading in freebsd driver source, and found in hdaa_patches.c (for widget 21 and 33 association 1, and sequence : 15) my association... is 15. Mayby this is problem this driver...
Thx for helps. :)

Removing HDA audio tickets from Beta2 milestone, no one has worked on it and opensound is available at least as a stopgap.

If this was actually a delayed start of audio it might be fixed by hrev54464. The syslog also seems to indicate that the sample rates for the streams were changed without restarting media services. Prior to the other recent HDA fixes, changing sample rates would possibly have lead to random memory corruption. As the system mixer sample rate doesn't adjust to the changed output sampling rate, it would also not have worked without restarting media services. Please retest under a recent nightly that includes these fixes.
