#11151 closed bug (fixed)

Haiku doesn't boot properly with intel_extreme driver

Reported by: KapiX Owned by: axeld
Priority: normal Milestone: R1
Component: Drivers/Graphics/intel_extreme Version: R1/Development
Keywords: Cc:
Blocked By: Blocking:
Platform: All

Description

After the rocket icon is loaded all I can see is black screen. It happens ~50% of the times. Weird thing: when I use the touchpad or mouse during loading screen it seems to happen less often. Blacklisting intel_extreme driver helps.

syslog + listdev attached.

I am constantly using intel_extreme driver now and didn't see this happening. Probably fixed by refactor.
