Description
I am using hrev48140, gcc2_hybrid. I am having problems with my java programs. Heres how it goes:
Arachnophila: Main menus open fine, but trying to open a submenu makes the menu flicker then closes all open menus. Trying to change filetypes in open dialog just flickers the menu and doesn't show it.
jEdit: Fresh install menus act identical to Arachnophilia (no sub menus), when after you close jEdit, then reopen it, none of the menus open at all. Just a flicker and they close. Delete the "~/.jedit" directory, it reverts to fresh install mode (main menus, but no submenus).

I've opened an issue for this at Bitbucket repo's issue tracker: https://bitbucket.org/hamishm/haiku-jdk7u-jdk/issue/1
This isn't actually a Haiku problem, and should be reported at the bug tracker for the OpenJDK port. Assigning to Hamish, since I'm uncertain as to its current location.
